jailbreakme

JailbreakMe returns, iPhone 4 jailbreak possible from device

If you remember back to the days of the first iPhone it used to be possible to jailbreak the smartphone just by visiting a website. That site was called JailbreakMe.com.
The site disappeared, but has now returned with the tag “2.0″ and offering up a jailbreak for all iDevices including iPhone 4 and running iOS. Following the recent ruling that jailbreaking is legal in the U.S. the site has come back online. All you need to do is visit JailbreakMe.com using your iPhone 4, or other Apple iDevice, then follow the instructions for the jailbreak to take place.
The servers for JailbreakMe.com are predictably under a heavy load at the moment, so don’t be surprised if your connection fails on the first few attempts. Also keep in mind the jailbreak is reversible if anything goes wrong.
